Evan Young is the 2019-2020 Five College Post-Baccalaureate Fellow for Blended Learning and Digital Humanities. He is a graduate of Amherst College where he earned a B.A. in English with a concentration in Digital Humanities, a B.A. in French, and the Five College Certificate in Native American and Indigenous Studies. Previously, Evan was a Five College Digital Humanities Undergraduate Fellow for 2018-2019. As a part of the fellowship, Evan completed an undergraduate thesis using augmented reality technology that functions as an interpretive tool for—and emerging from—Leslie Marmon Silko’s Almanac of the Dead.
